Millennium School of Irish Dance Studio

The Millennium School of Irish Dance Studio is located at 12 Old Mill Road, Redding, CT, in the heart of Georgetown, just off the intersection of Routes 57 and 107. The studio is equipped with a state-of-the-art Harlequin Cascade floor, mirrors, a professional sound and video system, and other amenities that provide the kind of caring atmosphere and quality environment Sue's students and families have come to associate with her teaching. Since our grand opening in September, 2002 over 130 students have registered. The school has a close relationship with the Georgetown Martial Arts Center, just above the space the Millennium Studio occupies.

 

 

 

Newsworthy Notes:

Our traditionl Mother's Day Beginner Showcase 2006 was held on May 14 at Meadow Ridge in Redding. Our ten beginners, plus assistants Catherine Lenz, Victoria Cottle, and her mother Jen Cole-Cottle put on a very enjoyable 20 minute show!

Our Spring Performance 2006 was on May 21. Held in conjunction with Art of Dance students, it featured performances by seven MSID classes. The Ceili groups also gave a little demonstration of Scottish dancing, including the Sailor's Hornpipe, the Sword Dance, the Lilt and a country dance, Mairi's Wedding.
